Welcome to team AM Nina Locke, whom joins the firm as our first fully site-based Property Inspector.
As Property Inspector Nina's field based role focuses on execution of routine site inspections in respect of our Block Management portfolio, working alongside and continually feeding essential site information to our existing office and field based teams.
Site inspections in a Block Management context involve anything from reviewing matters of health & safety compliance, property condition, meeting contractors and reviewing repairs for quality control purposes right through to simple housekeeping tasks such as taking utilities meter readings.
In addition to routine site inspections and as a Property Inspector at AM Surveying & Block Management; Nina fills the need of being an essential go-between for our primarily office based Property Management team and field based maintenance staff, a conduit of essential information between departments helping us fulfill our client's obligations on their behalf. In other words filling the gap by giving us the facility to deal with tasks too hands-on for Property Managers but not hands-on enough for our maintenance crews; which could include anything to changing light bulbs within communal light fittings through to inspecting loft or roof spaces and acting as a spare pair of hands (or feet!) when a ladder needs footing for a maintenance operative, these being some simple examples.
Nina quickly stood out as an excellent candidate for the role of Property Inspector with AM Surveying & Block Management, with 10 years trade experience herself as a painter/decorator and general tradesperson, along with a further 10 years experience working in a field based Site Inspection capacity checking planned and reactive repairs for high-end residential developments, all transferable skills fitting nicely to our requirement for this role.

Integration of the role of Property Inspector at AM, with the addition of our latest vehicle, Volkswagen's newest Golf, represents expansion of our modest fleet of vehicles, bringing the total to 6 field-based company branded vehicles all working exclusively at AM's managed sites and estates.
