All of us at AM Surveying & Block Management are thrilled to welcome Anthony Allder MIRPM as he joins team AM as Senior Property Manager, due to company growth and expansion.
Anthony's role as Senior Property Manager at AM principally involves being the nominated Block Property Manager for a varied portfolio of blocks and estates held by the firm where he‘ll act as our client's central contact. Anthony will be working alongside his nominated Property Management Assistant and other support staff within the firm to dispatch AM's Block Management services to clients at the firm's expected high standards and contractual obligations. Typical duties of a Block Manager include that of service charge budget setting and management, site inspections, coordinating repairs, managing correspondence with property owners and coordinating major works with our internal Surveyors and external consultants, among other things.
In addition, Anthony joins AM for the purpose of line management and leadership of AM's shining stars of the future, our less-senior Property Managers and support staff, some of whom are working towards Block Management qualifications via apprenticeships and others whom are already achieving great things such as having secured their first industry qualifications and recognition such as award winning Apprentice Zack Jermy AIRPM, CIHM.
With a background of 10 years in property management including with social housing landlords and Managing Agents in the private Block Management sector, Anthony joins AM Surveying & Block Management with excellent experience along with full Membership accreditation held with the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) and is ready to hit the ground running as he slots into his portfolio and role at AM.
Anthony boasts a unique string to his bow that speaks yet further to his good fit with AM Surveying & Block Management. In addition to his industry-relevant experience and qualifications Anthony is himself a leasehold property owner. What’s more, his own property as chance would have it, is within the managed portfolio held by AM! Accordingly, for many years Anthony has been on the receiving end of our services as Managing Agent to the estate within which his leasehold property is located, providing him a unique perspective and insight to the high standards to which we operate, before even on-boarding into the company.

It’s an exciting and busy time at AM, just in the month of March 2021 contracts to provide Block Management services to 470 units across 3 developments in London & Kent have been secured meaning the company is increasing it‘s head count to maintain service levels to existing clients while on-boarding new. In addition to filling the role of Senior Property Manager we have a range of further vacant roles for future stars of team AM; from Accounts Assistant, Property Management Assistant through to Property Inspector and Multi-Trader, among others.
