Corporate Team Building On the Go Karting Track
A sunny Summer's day in June 2017 and Go Karting is the order of the day for us all at AM as we hit the track for our annual team building event of 2017. Swapping budgets for break-neck-speed and hard hats for hairpin-bends as the Block Management & Building Surveying departments of AM head to Buckmore Park Go Karting track, Kent's premier Karting destination where racers such as Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button learned their trade.
With the corporate team building event split into 4 sections, 3 heats and 1 grand final race their could only be one winner to be crowned AM Surveying & Block Management Go Karting Champion 2017.
Zak Sladden Takes the Crown
It was the Zak Sladden show on the track at Buckmore Park as Property Manager Zak dominates the event, winning all 3 heats placing him in Pole Position for the Grand Final. Elsewhere on the grid for the grand final Maintenance Supervisor Elliot Nyman after a strong performance in the heats takes the 2 slot and Head of Block Management Matthew Mackintosh occupies grid position 3.
Following a tense 10 minute grand final Zak crosses the line in first place, winning the event, taking gold and earning office bragging rights for the next 12 months! Matthew Mackintosh takes second and Matthew Grant, Senior Building Surveyor reaches the podium in third.
